Illustrator, designer, and writer Rose Deniz lives outside of Istanbul, Turkey. Originally from Wisconsin, she holds an MFA in Painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art (2004).

Rose's work often includes a non-binary sequence of relationships between pieces and projects. She uses watercolor and ink because of it's immediacy and its transformation of the ordinary to the idiosyncratic. Her influences come from textile patterns, interior spaces, embroidery, fiction, landscape and the esoteric.
